Ag Background: Amanda grew up on a mixed grain farm, actively helping out around the farm from a very young age. Fun Fact: Growing up in a small town, our local golf course had sand greens. Turns out, I was really good at golfing and putting on those sand greens because I ended up winning high school provincial sand green golf titles two years in a row!

Meet Amanda McArthur, account executive with FBN in northeast Saskatchewan.

Amanda is a wife, farm partner and mother of two children, Axel (4 years old) and Blakely (18 months old). She was born and raised in Wilkie, SK.

Amanda always had a love for the farm and animals, and was heavily involved with 4-H growing up. She attended the University of Saskatchewan and worked for Bayer during the summer while attending university. She earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 2007 and then entered the ag industry working on the seed side for DuPont Pioneer.

“I am passionate about both sales and agronomy support for farmers, and I enjoy working in the ag industry and love that it is always evolving and changing.”

Amanda got married in 2013 and then moved back to her husband’s hometown, Watrous, SK, to actively be involved in their family farm.

“I met the love of my life who shares the same love of farming and agriculture as I do.”

Amanda worked at her local CPS retailer selling crop inputs and providing agronomy consultation, and later as regional account manager for the North Central Division, where she looked after key accounts as agronomy manager and supporting retail sales for the division. She started with FBN in January 2018.

When Amanda is not working or on the farm, she enjoys spending time at the lake, golfing and gardening, as well as traveling.

“I love that FBN is reinventing the way crop inputs are being purchased, as well as utilizing farm data through a network with other innovative farmers. It’s exciting to be part of the team!”
